I got a new lens!

This past week I finally got a lens that I have been dying to have for the past few years. The lens is the Canon 85mm 1.8, its a great portrait lens and is known for being very sharp. I was so excited to get it, that when an opportunity arose to test it out, I couldn't pass it up. I really like how this new lens performed, it is so sharp and I can't wait to continue using it on my upcoming shoots. This is Chandler, and he wanted to get some photos taken before he cut his somewhat shaggy hair off. Enjoy.

Beautiful Morgan

I had the great privilege of taking pictures of a beautiful girl the other day. This is Morgan, and I am the lucky man that gets to marry her. Morgan was kind enough to let me take some pictures of her and tough enough to brave the cold. Thanks babe, you are gorgeous.

This past week I had the opportunity to take some photos of Shelly, who was super fun and so relaxed and natural in front of the camera. I really enjoyed the shoot and am very pleased with what we were able create. Thanks again Shelly for being so fun.

Little Aida

What a cute, fun little girl Aida is. This was one of my first times working with a very young child (almost a year) and I learned quickly that saying "work it" didn't really work in this case. I took a lot of pictures and tried really hard to get her to look at me, but in the end, I just enjoyed watching her play and tried to capture her cuteness. I hope you enjoy looking at them, I sure had a blast taking them.
